The Deployment Architect role will play a vital part from the beginning of the lifecycle of a DS PLM Solutions Implementation, in establishing credibility with the customer, helping to close the opportunity, driving the architecture decisions and the implementation plan during the deployment/migration.
Detail description Analyze customer needs Transform business opportunities into statements of work (SOW) by defining the technical objectives, process requirements, constraints, and scope of the solution to be developed/implemented with the support of experts from other Deployment divisions Responsible for identifying technical risks and road blocks for deployment, and for developing implementation plan and actions for mitigating them. Maintain a high level of quality on the associated functional and technical deliverable specifications Project management Manage, coordinate and motivate the project team in relation to the customer Manage project budget and financial reporting Monitor the progress & performance and provide technical quality oversight at various points throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor the activities/problems encountered within the DS ecosystem including DS R&D/Maintenance Customer Management Maintain high customer satisfaction for all aspects of deployments. Deliver articulated and effective Executive presentations to audiences of all sizes. People Management This role will not have direct people management responsibilities; however will be responsible for mentoring others in the team. Responsible for proactive communications & relationship building within DS Ecosystem (Services, Sales, R&D...). Maintain a high organizational and collaborative team environment. Utilize experiences with customers in order to build a generic solution that can be applied to DS customers. The Deployment Architect must apply advanced analysis skills and experience to provide detailed reliable solutions and estimates for service implementation. Requirements Education: Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or computer sciences and 6 yrs of pertinent experience. The candidate could also have a Masters degree related to an engineering domain and/or software engineering and 4 years of pertinent experience. 3 years of experience on one or more DS PLM Solutions (ENOVIA V6 etc...) Mandatory to address subjects such as personalization, migration of data and software achitecture Knowledge on one or more CAD softwares (preference CATIA) Work experience in technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment and management. Strong leadership and the ability to professionally represent Dassault Systems in challeging environments are required.
