Cookbook Sales Account Representative

This full-time position will be very active in closing sales and making cold calls via telephone from our home office to our wholesale accounts and prospects. We take care of each customer from start to finish…sales calls to order entry to customer satisfaction, if necessary. Occasional overnight travel to tradeshows will be required of this position.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter with sales experience. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and Internet a must. A love of cookbooks a plus!

Responsibilities:

• 500 Sales Calls, per week, via phone, while updating CRM system
• Maintain existing accounts, while working to secure new accounts via outbound sales calls
• Increase sales volume by upselling/cross-selling
• Order entry and account set-up once approved
• Order details and customer satisfaction issues with wholesale customers
• Appear in new product and training videos
• Overnight travel to tradeshows, showrooms and events
• Support to other wholesale staff members, Manager and company

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous sales experience, preferably via telephone
• Strong PC skills with attention to detail
• Strong oral and written skills
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic
• Flexible hours based on regional territory time-zones
• Ability to work alone and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
