Must have - Strong Cisco routing/switching background as well as some Data Security background. Must have strong leadership/management experience. Must be degreed. Cisco certifications (even in past) a plus.

Accountabilities in this role
Experience with managing relationships with telecommunication service providers required.
Experience with managing relationships with network equipment vendors required.
Obtained Cisco routing and switching certifications a plus. Current certification not required.
Experience with various cabling plants required.
Experience with non-Cisco gear a plus.
Experience with SAN gear a plus.
Experience with firewalls a plus.
Experience with proxies a plus.
Demonstrate involvement with audit requirements.
Demonstrate an appreciation for data network security.
Demonstrate the ability to manage project work load for various data networking solutions.
Demonstrate the ability to estimate project hours for various data networking solutions.
Demonstrate the ability to make purchasing decisions based on RFPs and bakeoff results.
Demonstrate the ability to champion data network designs that aim for zero downtime.
Demonstrate the ability to understand application flows that include web, databases, load balancers, firewalls and proxies
Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field preferred
Minimum 5 years experience
Ability to develop teams and lead people preferred
Strong IT Technical skills
Strong communication skills
